I went to cheltenham and oxford a lot
I was in the FIRE DEPT and knew mr phipps very well, I drove that fire truck he polished the brass on.
I had a morris minor and would sometime pass him as he pedaled home. I
always gave a toot on the horn and he would just throw up one hand.
we had one guy that married a local girl not real sure of his exact name but they called him worm.
he stayed there after his 4 years in the military was up.
and rode a bicycle a lot. he worked at a car factory I think.
it seems the entire fire dept came at the same time,so we were all together for the 3 years and knew each other well.
I stayed in the military and traveled every where.
